Maite Sandoval-Black has 19 years of experience in classical, contemporary and world music. Has taught music and violin in Ecuador, Malaysia and United States to groups and individuals of all ages. Holds a Master of Arts in Violin performance from California Institute of the Arts in Valencia, California and a Bachelor of Arts in Contemporary Music from Universidad San Francisco de Quito in Ecuador. Holds certifications in Sound Healing and Therapeutic Music from CIIS in San Francisco, California and the MHTP organization, which has enabled her to provide therapeutic music to patients in hospitals. She enriches music teaching with Yoga knowledge to improve health, posture and balance. She currently performs locally with the Sequoia Symphony Orchestra and the Kings Symphony Orchestra. During the upcoming school year she will be working as a music teacher with the Porterville School District.
