The wide-fit construction adds circumference and height in the toe-box to forefoot area, helping higher-volume feet stay comfortable over longer mileage. A slip-on feel wraps the foot like a sock, creating a secure hold without unnecessary compression. Updated side panels increase breathability, which helps during warm starts, sustained climbs, and race-pace efforts. Midsole-wrapping outsole lugs improve traction and stability on off-camber terrain where secure footing matters most. Underfoot, LaSpEVA, MEMlex cushioning, a compressed EVA rock guard, and TPU STB inserts create a mix of cushioning, protection, and torsional support. La Sportiva finishes the shoe with bi-compound FriXion XT 2.0 rubber, FLEX inserts, and 4mm lugs for dependable grip across technical mountain trails.
